London, 15th March 2010
Rachelle Smith, the Regional Director UK & Ireland at PrePay Solutions, will chair an insightful session at the upcoming UK Gift Card & Voucher Association (UKGCVA) Conference, being held in London on Wednesday 21 April 2010.
Rachelle will lead ‘Building the basics – vouchers, gift cards or e-vouchers, where do I begin?’ a discussion between Rachelle, Tessa Unsworth, Director of Solutions, also at PrePay Solutions; Tony Craddock, Global Prepaid Exchange; John Botterill, from Cognitronics; Siobhan Moore from Ernst & Young; and Steve Bradbury, Ceridian SVS. The session is set to address everything from prepaid gifting and jargon to IT and hardware requirement, legislation and tax, and using gift cards as a consumer promotional tool.
Extremely respected in the international voucher and gift card market, Rachelle has dedicated more than 10 years to the retail sector and prepaid industry in both B2B and B2C realms. In 2009 alone, PrePay Solutions managed more than 50 prepaid programmes, over 30 million prepaid accounts and processed in excess of €1billion of prepaid value. Rachelle, who oversaw these activities, is therefore well-placed to share her expertise.
“I am extremely passionate about delivering value through prepaid and the potential of the evolving market and I believe this event is the most notable on the UK industry’s calendar,” commented Rachelle who is currently co-chair on the UKGCVA’s board.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to have a group of like-minded professionals including experts, international keynotes and industry power-players under one roof to discuss what’s next for vouchers, gift cards and prepaid – and we anticipate an influx of significant developments over the next few years for both business and consumer applications.”
The UKGCVA Annual Conference 2010, will be held at Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Wednesday 21 April. It is presented in partnership with PrePay Solutions.
